We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Coordinator to oversee the operations of our sports department. The Sports Coordinator will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating activities, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all members/guests. Responsibilities:

- Work collaboratively with the Swim Coach, Director of Racquets, Director of Sports, General Manager and fitness related team members

- Develops and maintains departmental budgets for revenue, labor, expenses and related items necessary to enable the department to produce top level staff, offerings and Member experiences

- Manage day-to-day operations of the sports center, including scheduling, staffing, and facility maintenance

- Oversee and coordinate sporting, youth and camp programs for members and juniors

- Enforce all Club policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all participants

- Team member development, coaching and ensuring professional development

- Provide guidance and support to teammates, sports coaches, and instructors

- Maintain accurate records of attendance, program participation, and financial transactions

- Helping with the retention of existing program participants and attracting new participants

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sports center management

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in exercise science or a related field (preferred)

- Personal training certification (required)

- CPR/AED certification

- Experience working with children

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
